The Founding Congress of the Global Lighting Procurement Federation (GLPF) will be grandly held at the Garden Suite, 11th Floor, Grand Hyatt 1 Harbour Road Hong Kong on April 7 2025.

As the head of the GLPF preparatory committee, I has high expectations for the federation establishment. During the preparatory meeting,I emphasized that the birth of GLPF not only exhibits the international competitiveness of Chinese lighting industry but also represents a critical step toward collaborative development of the global industrial chain. Through this platform, the international buyers will gain easy access to high-quality, reliable products, fulfilling their demand for superior supply chains. At the same time, GLPF will open an “Information Highway” for the suppliers to enter overseas markets, enabling precise targeting of key markets while minimizing inefficiencies. This initiative aims to help more enterprises solidify their global presence and achieve rapid growth.

Further stated that the establishment of GLPF not only enhances efficient collaboration across the industry chain but also serves as a vital component of the lighting industry’s internationalization strategy. Embracing an open and inclusive approach, GLPF will gather global expertise to drive innovation and development in the lighting industry. Through this platform, buyers and suppliers worldwide will strengthen communication and cooperation, jointly addressing market challenges and achieving mutual success. GLPF will focus on building an efficient, convenient and secure procurement platform, offering comprehensive services and support to its members.

GLPF is jointly initiated by international major brands and procurement leaders, including Sylvania, Halco Ligthing,Keystone, Cooper Lighting, Best Lighting, Elite, Beghelli, Ledvance, ATG, Schréder, Eran Industrial, Signify,Sky Lighting and Marcoasia. Its founding congress is scheduled for April 7, 2025, during the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair Spring Edition. The event will gather global lighting industry elites and leaders to explore future trends and collaborative opportunities.
